What is Hospice Care?

ANX Hospice Care is specialized care focused on improving quality of life for individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families. At ANX, our hospice team offers compassionate, comprehensive support — from expert symptom management to emotional and spiritual care — helping patients and families find comfort, dignity, and peace.

Who is Hospice Care For?

Hospice care is designed for individuals diagnosed with a terminal illness, typically with a prognosis of six months or less if the disease follows its natural course. Patients may have conditions such as:

Advanced cancer
End-stage heart, lung, or kidney disease
Advanced Alzheimer’s or other dementias
Neurological conditions like ALS

If curative treatment is no longer effective or desired, hospice focuses on providing comfort and quality time with loved ones.

ANX Hospice Care recognizes the right of California residents to participate in the End of Life Option Act and will comply with the law as required. Our hospice care team respects each patient’s decision regarding participation and maintains a neutral stance toward the EOLOA.

Gentle Peaceful Passing
